This website just keeps getting better and better. I just left K-2 last summer, but my heart was alway's in Songtan/Pyongtaek.

Keep up the good work, and please keep adding to the slide shows and then/now photos.

Wow, this is a great website. I was stationed there from 11/83-11/84. I was in the 51st Civil Engineering Sq. My dorm down the hill, take the first right, then the next right. I think it was 454, can't remember.

I can not believe they have Burger King on base! For us it was either the chow hall or Ms. Kim's "McDonalds."

The Ville sure has changed, and for the better. There's a road where the Osan club used to be. I'm kind of shocked how much it has changed. Oh wait, it's been 20 years. Duh. lol

I don't recognize anything. I was there in 1979-80 and had to live in officers quarters because there were no dorms for female sargeants in the 2045th Communications Group. I was a radio operator at Commando Escort. My room was down the hill from Dorm 749, we called it Animal House. Songton was so small then, I am in shock! Looking great Osan. Thank you for the tour!

The only thing I recognize is the hills in the background. But then it was in 1976-77 that I lived at Osan in building 917 which is obviously not there any more either. It's a different world there now.

Enjoy this site. The pictures are great. Things sure have changed since I was there. I was an 18 year old crew chief on f-86-f with the 310th FBS, 58th FBW. The wing moved to osan (k-55)from tague (k-2)in mar 1955. I had arrived at k-2 in dec 1954. Left k-55 for the states in nov, 1955. Keep up the good work.
